Chris Rees
Chris first took an interest in photography at 15 having saved up his pocket money to buy an Halina
compact camera. By early adulthood and several cameras later, Chris' interest had waned through a frustrating
lack of access to darkroom facilities and family commitments.
The arrival of the digital era rekindled Chris' interest an prompted the purchase of his first digital camera, an
Olympus C3030. He now uses a Sony Alpha 200 DSLR and enjoys a wide range of photography including a
return to black & white film.
Chris lives in Grantham with his wife and two children. He works as a train driver and also serves as a soldier
in the Territorial Army.
