"A great advantage of using a simply
digital 'point and shoot' is that nobody takes you seriously. This snap of
'Geordie' was taken at a distance of about four feet standing right next to him
at the bar, he took no notice what so ever. Imagine if I had lifted a huge DSLR
with a whacking great zoom lens and thrust that in his face. I used my little
Canon G3 for this shot. For casual work in the past I have always trusted my
Leicas, but now they have been relegated to the cupboard, they might be lovely
cameras, but they don't have the Canons swivelling LCD."
